Cole Palmer Wins Premier League Player Of The Month For September

The winner of September 2024’s EA SPORTS Player of the Month award is Cole Palmer.

Palmer had the most goals and goal involvements in the Premier League during the previous month. He recorded five goals and one assist in four games.

Remarkably, he became the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in the first half of a Premier League match, with four of those goals coming in a devastating 21-minute span against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Palmer not only put on an amazing performance against Brighton, but he also scored a goal and provided an assist in a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace and West Ham United.

Palmer receives his second EA SPORTS Player of the Month award; he was awarded the title in April 2024. That indicates that he has taken home two of the previous three honors.

After a panel of football experts and the general public’s votes from the EA SPORTS website were combined, the 22-year-old emerged victorious from an eight-man shortlist.

When Chelsea plays Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday, October 20, Palmer, who started October with an assist in a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest, will try to add to his league-leading total of 11 goal involvements this season.
