Community In Shock As Baby is Found Abandoned Near Zebilla Market

According to reports, an unnamed mother left an abandoned baby behind several commercial establishments at the Zebilla Market in the Bawku West District of the Upper East Region.
Witnesses reported hearing the baby wailing behind one of the stores as they were grocery shopping. The client became alarmed and promptly informed others, which resulted in the infant being retrieved.
A formal report was filed after the baby was brought to the Zebilla District Police Station. To help, officers from the Bawku West District’s Social Welfare Department were brought in.
Later, the infant was moved to Zebilla’s Bawku West District Hospital for observation and medical treatment.
