Covid-19: MOH Tighten Measures To Avert Outbreak
The Ghana Health Service has issued a notice of newly improved Covid-19 prevention measures.
The outbreak of the covid-19 virus became a global pandemic breaking economies and businesses to a halt. Lives were lost at the speed of light. The disease seems to be making a came back.
According to the MOH, though there has been a decline and sustained low levels of the viral disease in the country over the past three months, the increase in cases in China and other countries has become a source of worry.

The alarming increase in cases in China and other European countries could spark an outbreak. The covid-19 virus needs strict measures to tame its spread.
According to the Ministry Of Health, they have already rolled out new measures to avert the spread of the rising virus in Ghana. Before the 2022 elections, Ghana went on nationwide lockdown.
We will shortly come out with our country-specific measures to address the current threat of Covid–19, especially concerning importation.

It urged Ghanaians to avail themselves of vaccination to marginally save the situation. Those who have taken their first dose are to go for the second dose and those who have taken their second dose are also entreated to go for the booster. Vaccination remains the best protection against Covid–19 infection.
