Daniel Dubois Defeats Anthony Joshua Heavily To Defend IBF Heavyweight Title

Daniel Dubois, in front of 96,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, spectacularly destroyed fellow Brit Anthony Joshua in five rounds to launch himself into international sporting prominence.

The 27-year-old destroyed his domestic rival’s career by dropping Joshua several times to hold the IBF heavyweight belt.

Londoner Dubois earned the greatest victory of his 24-fight career by stopping Joshua, 34, with an amazing counterright hook.

“Are you not entertained?” Dubois said post-fight to huge cheers at Wembley.

I’m a gladiator. I am a warrior to the bitter end. I want to get to the top level of this sport and reach my potential.”

Joshua’s attempt to win the title three times and retake the top spot in the division came to an abrupt and shocking halt.
