Dr. Frank Owusu-Sekyere has been named by the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KATH) Board of Directors to serve as acting CEO (CEO).
This comes when Dr. Opoku Ware Ampomah, the current CEO, finishes her term.
With effect from October 6, 2024, is the appointment.
This was written in a letter signed by Board Chairman Dr. David Nkansa-Dwamena and dated October 3, 2024.
The letter noted that, the board’s first focus was to assure a seamless continuity of the hospital’s operations and the well-being of patients.
Dr Owusu-Sekyere is currently the Director of Medical Affairs at KATH.
Dr Ampomah’s four-year tenure as Korle Bu CEO ends on October 5, 2024.
