Nigerian comedian Basketmouth insisted he has indeed separated from his wife, Elsie.
According to the comedian, despite their separation, he has a good relationship with Elsie because of their children. Netizens have accused him of still chasing the wife despite separation.
In a recent interview, the controversial comedian maintained that they separated from his wife at the moment. He refused to divulge more details about the separation.

“I am separated right now. People thought it was a joke but it wasn’t. People said is that a way of promoting a show and I’m like you do not know my design.
“I do not bring my private matter into a public space. But it was something I needed to do for reasons best known to me. And yes. We were cool. Everything is fine. We completed 12 years.”
