Family Of Three Parish In A fire Outbreak In Kumasi
A family of three met their untimely death by domestic fire outbreak at Abuakwah in the Ashanti Region.
The family of three burnt to death despite attempts to rescue them by the Ghana Fire Service. The unfortunate incident involves a 28-year-old mother, Abigail Manu, and her two daughters, Nora Yeboah and Philipa Yeboah, 9 and 6 years respectively.
According to the report, two other family members in the house escaped. The other three were trapped inside and were burnt to death in the process.

Officers from the fire service department helped prevent the fire from spreading in the neighbourhood. The affected house has been destroyed.
A police officer with the anti-robbery and his wife also perished in a fire outbreak. The Ashanti Region recorded two severe fire outbreaks in 2023.
We heard the victims screaming and calling for help but were only able to rescue two out of the five persons who were trapped in the fire.
