Fire Consume 20-Bedroom Building In Upper Denkyira

In the Central Region’s Upper Denkyira West District, a two-story structure with 20 bedrooms was devastated by fire, leaving behind substantial damage.
Eight bedrooms were spared thanks to the Ghana National Fire Service’s (GNFS) prompt response to the disaster.
The furnishings of the remaining 12 bedrooms, however, were totally demolished.
Their tactical action saved the entire structure from being consumed by the fire, according to the District Fire Command.
The cause of the fire is still being looked into, though.
In order to avoid such incidents, authorities have asked locals to follow fire safety precautions, particularly during the dry season when fire outbreaks are more common.
