Several properties at the Berekum Ghana Water Limited office in the Bono Region have been destroyed by a fire, the cause of which has not yet been determined.
The event took place early on Friday, November 1, 2024.
Around three in the morning, Hammond Bejawo, the on-duty security guard, reported to Adom News that he had noticed smoke emanating from one of the rooms.
He called the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Berekum branch, but by the time they got there, the fire had already done a lot of damage.
Motorcycles, tubes, pipes, and other equipment were among the things that were destroyed in the fire.
Part of their operational rooms was also destroyed.
Management of the company, however, remains tight-lipped until the fire service provides a report on the cause.
