The processing plant and offshore gas export facilities of Ghana National Gas Company (Ghana Gas) will be closed starting on Thursday, August 1 for maintenance.
The goal of the exercise, which is set to conclude on Saturday, August 17, is to improve the plant’s operating effectiveness and guarantee a steady supply of gas.
Lean gas from the Sankofa-OCTP field would be delivered to Takoradi Distribution Stations during the operation, according to a statement released by Ghana Gas on Wednesday, July 31.
The company has promised the public an efficient power supply and apologized for any inconvenience the exercise may have caused.
