Black Stars defender Tariq Lamptey has been presented with a silver-plated commemorative plaque following his latest milestone in the English Premier League.
The Ghana international reached a 100 appearances in the English topflight after starring against former club Chelsea in the Premier League last month.
Ahead of his 101 appearance in the league, the 24-year-old received the piece of silverware from the Premier League for his accomplishment.
Lamptey missed the game against Fulham last week through suspension following his red card in the FA Cup fifth round against Newcastle United.
However, he will be available for the trip to the Etihad to face Manchester City on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
“100 PL Appearances. Grateful, we keep on working,” he wrote on social media after receiving the award.
Lamptey has made 99 appearances in the league for Brighton, adding to his debut in the competition while at Chelsea.
The wing-back is expected to be named in the Black Stars squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar next week.
