Ghanaian Footballer Stranded In Zimbabwe
Ghanaian footballer has been left to his fate in Zimbabwe and has shared his plight via social media.
The young Ghanaian footballer, identified as Dela Akorli, has revealed that, money to feed himself has become a burden. Being stranded in a foreign land is worse than any scenario.
The 19-year-old Ghanaian centre forward is currently stuck in Bulawayo. Reports indicate he does not even have money for a flight back home and described his experience as a nightmare.

According to the reports, Della’s contract with Amakhosi expires in December 2022. The Chiefs are in dire financial crises, which are even compromising the club’s very existence. Akorli has not been paid in months with the other team members.
Since we finished the league, I had no money on me, to even buy food or data bundle. I have no entertainment at home it has been very tough for me. I couldn’t watch the World Cup that took place recently. Life has been very tough for me.
The Amakhosi striker says he has engaged the Footballers Union of Zimbabwe (FUZ), so that he can get his money and go back to Ghana.
“I want to go back home because the stress that I have gone through this season with this club (Chiefs) is too much for me,” said Arkoli.
