Government Acknowledges 67 Errors in Performance Tracker

The Information Ministry expressed appreciation via a tweet for the significant interest demonstrated by citizens in the performance tracker.

“After the successful rollout of the Performance Tracker, government appreciates the significant interest and scrutiny from citizens.

“This level of engagement reflects the public’s dedication to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the information presented.

“Within 48 hours of the launch, we have identified 67 entries that were mistakenly included,” the tweet concluded.

Unveiled by the government on Wednesday, April 10th, the Performance Tracker is to improve transparency and accountability in infrastructure projects across the country.

At the unveiling ceremony, Minister of Works and Housing, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, underscored the crucial function of the Performance Tracker in guaranteeing transparency and accountability throughout the execution of infrastructure projects nationwide.

He emphasized that the tracker tackles enduring issues regarding the precision and dependability of project representations, particularly regarding the utilization of artist’s impressions to portray outcomes.

Moreover, the tracker currently features over 13,000 projects nationwide.

Nkrumah highlighted that the tracker symbolizes an enhanced iteration of the Delivery Tracker initially introduced by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in 2020, stressing its significance in overseeing the advancement of diverse projects throughout the country.
