Amakye Dede, a legendary musician from Ghana, was involved in a horrific accident in the Western area between Apam and Winneba.
According to management, the incident happened on Sunday, December 29, 2024, around 1:50 am.
According to a statement from management, the accident occurred while he and his team were traveling to Agona Swedru following a performance at the Takoradi City Mall.
After being taken to the Winneba Hospital, they were treated from 2:00 am until 6:00 am.
As they thanked Ghanaians for their prayers and support thus far, the management promised that Amakye Dede would require a few days to recuperate completely.
