Kafui Danku Expresses Confidence In John Mahama To Transform Movie Industry
Renowned Ghanaian actress and producer Kafui Danku is hopeful that opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC] leader John Dramani Mahama will revitalize the film business.
In an appearance with “The Chat,” a conversation show on Channel One TV dedicated to entertainment, Kafui Danku hinted that political action could help revive Ghana’s film industry, which is beset by problems with distribution and funding.
Because of her expectation that John Dramani Mahama would return, she continued to believe that the sector is about to undergo a favorable change.
“The challenges have been there and it declined for a while… we have been having issues with funding, and distribution”.She told Chris Kata who sat in for the regular host Ekow Koomson.
The author of ‘Silence Is Not Golden’ book and ardent member of the NDC was quick to add, “They have been there forever..then again we still warming up for some good news in the future and we are warming up for John Mahama and the NDC to come and do it better”.
On November 1, 2024, Kafui Danku’s new movie, “Fear Women & Look,” will be released. The cast of “Fear Women & Look” includes Salma Mumin, Clinton, Kobi Rana, and Bella Agyemang.
