Liverpool’s Alisson Expected To Be Out Of Squad For At Least A Month

Due to a hamstring injury, Liverpool goalie Alisson is anticipated to be sidelined until at least mid-November.

The Brazil international was injured during Saturday’s 1-0 victory at Crystal Palace, and Vitezslav Jaros took his place after 79 minutes.

After a series of league games, Liverpool does not anticipate Alisson returning until the upcoming international break, which takes place from November 11–19.

Before that, the league leaders play Premier League games against Chelsea, Arsenal, Brighton, and Aston Villa. They also play Champions League matches against RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen, as well as a Carabao Cup encounter against Brighton.

Due to illness, Caoimhin Kelleher was unable to play at Palace, but he is anticipated to take Alisson’s position in goal.

After Alisson, 32, had a time out in September, Kelleher replaced him and participated in the team’s victories over West Ham and Bournemouth in the League Cup.

After the international break in November, Liverpool’s first match comes on November 24 at Southampton. They next play Real Madrid, Manchester City, Newcastle United, and Everton, their local rivals.
