Lord Amoah, a right-back, has officially signed with Asante Kotoko, one of the top teams in the Ghana Premier League.
Ahead of the 2024–2025 football season, the Porcupine Warriors acquired the transfer from Berekum Chelsea, a fellow Premier League team.
The Kumasi-based team announced the news on its official social media platforms, saying, “We are happy to announce Lord Amoah’s arrival as Berekum Chelsea’s right back. AKWAABA 🤝
Amoah, who was formerly a player for Benab FC, had a standout Ghana Premier League season with Berekum Chelsea last year.
With his 29 games played and four assists, he was a major contributor to the team’s third-place result.
It is anticipated that Lord Amoah will bolster the Reds’ defense.
The 2024–25 Ghana Premier League season for Kotoko will begin on the road at the Aliu Mahama Stadium against Karela United.
