Maame Efua Houadjeto Named Chief Executive Of Ghana Tourism Authority
Maame Efua Houadjeto has been named the Ghana Tourism Authority’s new chief executive officer.
She is the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Mfantsiman Constituency in the 2024 elections and a former deputy women’s organizer.
Akwasi Agyeman, who resigned around a week ago, is replaced by Maame Efua.
Making Ghana the go-to destination for sustainable tourism is the mission of the Ghana Tourism Authority, one of the thirteen organizations under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts.
