Mole Park Authorities Apprehend 3 Illegal Poachers

During one of the park’s routine patrols, Mole National Park staff members caught three well-known poachers.

Saaka Karim, 26, Abdulai Adam, 25, and Ahmed Fatawu, 23, who are all farmers and inhabitants of Laribanga in the West Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region, are the people who have been detained.

They are in custody after park employees tracked some of their footprints.

Their arrest is a component of continuing initiatives to stop illicit poaching and safeguard the park’s fauna.

Chief Ali Mahama, the park management, said the three will appear in court on Monday before the Bole District Magistrate Court.

Poachers have targeted the Mole National Park, which is well-known for its varied wildlife, in an attempt to profit from its abundant wildlife.

The authorities are dedicated to protecting the area and making sure that poachers found are put before the law.
