In the Krachi East Municipality of the Oti area, a tragic tragedy at the Asukawkaw Bridge has left numerous people injured and four people dead.
That happened on Tuesday in a head-on collision between a Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) Toyota and an Urvan.
Rescue crews were quick to get on the scene and were able to free people who were stuck in the debris.
The injured were taken to the Worawora government hospital for treatment, while the driver of the Urvan and three of his passengers were declared dead at the scene.
The Urvan bus, registered VR 156-12, was carrying passengers from the Dambai market to Akatsi when it collided at approximately 4 p.m.
