Over the weekend, Mzbel, a musician from Ghana, said a heartfelt goodbye to her mother, Madam Charlotte Asi Ocansey.
The late Madam Ocansey, lovingly referred to as “Shai-Shai” or “Mummy 1,” died in July 2024.
On Saturday, October 5, 2024, family, friends, and well-wishers gathered at the Grace Presbyterian Church in Babayara-Madina for the funeral service, where they paid their last respects.
Mzbel and her family were surrounded by those who cared for them in a melancholy setting as they buried Madam Ocansey.
A Thanksgiving service was held on October 6, at the same church.
Fans and entertainment business colleagues of Mzbel sent their sympathies and joined her in her sadness during this trying period.
