National Cathedral Is A Major Tourism Boost – Kennedy Agyapong
NPP Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon Kennedy Agyapong, has added his voice to the ongoing argument about the National Cathedral.
The outspoken member of parliament, Ghana’s tourism, will hit a milestone with the construction of the National Cathedral. The government of Ghana will stop at nothing to complete the project.
Funding for the project has been met with fierce opposition from the public and the opposition. According to the MP, Ghana’s economy will surge. Kennedy Agyapong referred to the project as an investment.

Speaking on the floor of parliament, the 2024 presidential called on Ghanaians to ignore the cost involved in building the National Cathederal. According to him, the benefits out weighs the cost involved.
Kennedy Agyapong concluded by saying the Cathedral will promote tourism and bring in huge revenue when completed. According to the 2023 budget, 80 million Ghana Cedis will go into the project.
Ghana as a nation is going through tough finacila draught. The country’s economy has been nothing to write home about. At the moment, the building of the cathederal would not be necessary. The cost of living in ghana has become excersively high over the past few months.
