Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr Mohammadu Bawumia has said the NPP has built more infrastructure than any administration.
Despite the challenges faced by the economy, Dr Bawumia said Ghanaians should appreciate the NPP. According to him, the NDC would have sold the country rather than save it.
Ghana’s economy not long ago was ranked the worse in the world. The Ghanaian cedi also became the worst-performing currency in Africa.
Under the fourth republic, the New Patriotic Party has given Ghanaians stress relief projects and policies more than our friends. All the NDC does when in power is to loot and share from the public purse.
For instance, how would they have managed the economy in these hard times? They would have even shared donations and grants among themselves. This is what the NPP is against.

Speaking at the 2022 thanksgiving service of the New Patriotic Party organized at the party’s headquarters at Asylum Down in Accra, Dr Bawumia said the NPP’s tenure has recorded the completion of several projects despite the global economic downturn which affected Ghana.
Since coming to power for the last six years, and according to the data available, we have created more jobs than any other government in the history of the Fourth Republic, and we have built more roads, we have built more classrooms, we have built more railways, and we have also built more factories than any other government since independence.”
