Nsoatreman Assures Readiness for CAF Confed Cup Challenge

Eric Alagidede, general manager of Nsoatreman Football Club, claims his squad is prepared to play in the CAF Confederation Cup the next year.

He made this statement following his team’s run to the 2024 MTN FA Cup Final in an exclusive interview with Football Made in Ghana on CITI TV.

“We are ready. Once we are in the final, we want to win it and go to Africa. Once we get the opportunity, we will play in the Africa competition and do well. It’s difficult that we have to play the final in Accra but don’t have an option.”

“In our (Division One) playoff game against Tamale City FC, we brought a lot of fans to Accra over 30 buses. So it will be a similar thing we will organize more buses to bring more supporters to come and boost the support of the boys.”

At the WAFA Park at Sogakope, Nsoatreman defeated Legon Cities 2-1 in the semifinals to advance to a final match against crosstown rival Bofoakwa Tano.

The winner secures their spot in the CAF Confederation Cup, and the match takes place on June 23 at the University of Ghana Stadium.
