Alvaro Morata, a forward from Spain, has joined AC Milan on a four-year contract with a one-year option. He was previously at Atletico Madrid.
In order to sign Morata, the Serie A team activated his release clause, which was purportedly worth approximately £11 million.
Earlier this month, the 31-year-old led Spain to victory in Euro 2024.
Morata has played for Chelsea and Juventus in addition to Real Madrid, where he made his professional debut.
He won the Italian championship twice with Juventus and the Champions League twice in two spells at Real Madrid.
Morata, who won the FA Cup with Chelsea, has led Spain in goals scored with 36 in 80 games.
