Venezia FC Signs Ghanaian Midfielder Alfred Duncan

After leaving Fiorentina, Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan finalized his transfer to Italian team Venezia FC.

With the possibility of a contract extension, the 31-year-old has committed to a deal with Venezia that runs until the 2025–2026 season.

Duncan, a graduate of Inter Milan’s development academy, offers his new team a plethora of Serie A expertise.

He has played for Livorno, Sampdoria, Sassuolo, Cagliari, and most recently Fiorentina in his career.

He has played in 304 Serie A games during his career, tallying 17 assists and 14 goals.

Along with participating in qualifying rounds, Duncan has made eight appearances in the Conference League and five in the Europa League in European competitions.

His background should greatly help Venezia in getting ready for upcoming seasons.

Duncan is prepared to have an impact at Venezia after departing Fiorentina this summer, where he played in 41 games during his final season, scoring two goals and dishing out five assists.

He has accumulated ten caps for the Ghana national team on the international scene. His knowledge and adaptability will help Venezia FC improve their midfield as they strive to bolster their team.
