Why I don’t want to call myself Queen of Gospel music – Esther Smith

Why I don’t want to call myself Queen of Gospel music – Esther Smith.

Gospel legend, Esther Smith has humbly stated that despite her numerous hit songs, she does not consider herself the greatest or the Queen of Gospel music.

Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Thursday, she explained her stance.

“When you start calling yourself the queen or the greatest, it attracts envy and jealousy. I prefer to stay in my corner, do what I love, and continue blessing others through my music” she said.

When the host suggested that she could consider herself the best in gospel music, Esther Smith responded, “There are others who have done more than I have, and I’m not worried about that. I have many songs, and I am always willing to support others.”
