World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury Announces His Retirement.

Tyson Fury, the former heavyweight champion, made his latest retirement from boxing public on social media on Monday.

In April 2022, following his victory against Dillian Whyte, Fury announced his retirement from professional competition. But in December of the same year, the British player was back in action.

I’m going to make this short and sweet, I’d like to announce my retirement from boxing,” Fury said in a video posted on Monday.

“It’s been a blast, I’ve loved every single minute of it and I’m going to end with this. Dick Turpin wore a mask. God bless everybody, see you on the other side.”

In addition, he made brief declarations of retirement on social media in 2013 and 2017.

In December, while attempting to reclaim his heavyweight world championship titles, Fury suffered his second defeat at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk.

Given that both fighters are nearing the end of their careers, a highly anticipated bout with Anthony Joshua has been rumored for this year.
