Obour Steps Down as Ghana Post Boss

After serving for two years, Bice Osei Kuffour, better known by his nickname Obour, has formally resigned from his position as Ghana Post’s managing director.

Obour, who assumed the position on January 4, 2022, emphasized the noteworthy advancements accomplished under his direction and called his time there a privilege.

He outlined significant accomplishments, such as improvements in digitalization, operational effectiveness, brand awareness, and financial sustainability—all of which were made in an effort to turn Ghana Post into a cutting-edge, client-focused logistics company.

Obour thanked former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the chance to serve when he announced his resignation on Facebook on March 12.

Obour also extended his appreciation to the Minister of Communications and Digitalisation, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, as well as the Board of Directors, management, and staff of Ghana Post for their unwavering support.

“As I step down to pursue other interests, I extend my deepest gratitude to Hon. Ursula Owusu, the Board of Directors, and the hardworking management and staff of Ghana Post. Their dedication and commitment have been instrumental in the progress we have made,” Obour stated.
