Paris 2024: Ghana Dazzles in Fugu Attire At Olympics Opening Ceremony

With their vibrant fugu clothing, Team Ghana attracted notice during the 2024 Olympic opening ceremony.

Ghana’s delegation continues to showcase the culture of the nation in Paris while rocking the traditional hand-woven clothing.

The women’s squad donned their entire fugu, while the men’s team wore their fugu with black pants.

A team of five people, commanded by Joseph Paul Amoah and Rose Yeboah, boarded the boat for the riverside opening ceremony.

Eight athletes from Ghana traveled to the competition to compete in the swimming, high jump, and sprinting sports.

On Friday, July 26, the games’ opening ceremony was held on the Seine River.

Additionally, since the beginning of the games, this was the first time the opening ceremony had taken place outside of the stadium.
