Jay-Z & Diddy Combs Face Fresh Allegation Of Sexual Assault Against 13-Year-Old

According to a Billboard article, Jay-Z, a rapper and music entrepreneur whose real name is Sean Carter, has been charged with raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000 with Sean “Diddy” Combs.

According to ANI, the accusations were made in a civil action that lawyer Tony Buzbee filed in federal court in New York on Sunday on behalf of an accuser named Jane Doe. The rapper, however, has refuted the allegations and referred to it as a “blackmail attempt.”

According to the lawsuit, the woman was drugged by Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jay-Z, who then allegedly attacked her at an after-party that took place after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards. Prior to the assault, the victim says she was persuaded to sign a non-disclosure agreement and given a drink that left her feeling “woozy” and “lightheaded.”

“Another celebrity stood by and watched as Combs and Jay Z took turns assaulting the minor. Many others were present at the afterparty, but did nothing to stop the assault,” read the lawsuit according to the publication.

In response, Jay-Z issued a statement on Sunday, calling the lawsuit’s allegations an effort at extortion. He called Buzbee a “deplorable human” and a “fraud” who takes advantage of people for his own benefit. He pledged to expose the attorney in a “very public fashion” and refused to settle the matter.

The statement partly reads:

“You have made a terrible error in judgement thinking that all ‘celebrities’ are the same. I’m not from your world. I’m a young man who made it out of the project of Brooklyn. We don’t play these types of games.  I have very strict codes and honor.

We protect children, you seem to exploit people for personal gain. Only your network of conspiracy theorists … will believe the idiotic claims you have levied against me that, if not for the seriousness surrounding harm to kids, would be laughable. I look forward to showing you just how different I am,” r

The case is an amended version of one that was originally filed under the name Sean Combs alone. It comes as Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a number of charges, including a federal indictment in September that said he operated a criminal enterprise to satisfy his “sexual gratification.”
