King Faisal coach Sabuto, also known as Prince Acheampong, tragically died after a protracted illness.
After spending many days in the hospital, the 52-year-old coach passed away on Tuesday afternoon from the unidentified illness.
Acheampong took over as King Faisal’s head coach in January 2025 after Barnabas Awuni was fired due to the team’s erratic start to the Division One League campaign. With 20 points from 15 games, King Faisal is presently ranked ninth in Zone 2 under his direction.
He had coaching positions with Fabulous Ladies FC, Dunkwa United, and Asante Kotoko.
