Other guests were former teammates of Gyan, Mustapha Ussif, the Minister of Sports, and Numekevor Dodzie, the Director General of the National Sports Authority.

They were Wendy Shay, Fancy Gadam, Guru, and comic Ras Nene (now Dr Likee).

Additionally, hundreds of supporters turned up to help the former captain of the Black Stars with his new endeavor.

On an unspecified day, the chosen athletes, who range in age from 18 to 23, will compete against their peers from other locations.
