Asamoah Gyan: Mohammed Kudus Dominates the Black Stars Era

Football icon Asamoah Gyan has declared that the current era of the Black Stars belongs to Mohammed Kudus, the talented midfielder from West Ham United.

Gyan’s endorsement underscores the growing consensus that Ghana’s national team should center around the 23-year-old sensation, who recently made his debut in the English Premier League.

Gyan shared his views during an interview on Asempa FM, coinciding with the launch of his media campaign to promote the Regional Games, aimed at fostering sports at the regional level. Kudus, who transferred to West Ham from Ajax Amsterdam for £37 million in 2023, has already showcased his prowess with seven goals and five assists in 26 league appearances.

Despite missing the 2023 AFCON opener due to injury, Kudus made a remarkable comeback, earning the Man of the Match accolade in subsequent matches against Mozambique and Egypt.
