Asante Kotoko Boosts Attack With Signing Of Sampson Eduku

During the January transfer window, Asante Kotoko signed Sampson Eduku to a one-and-a-half-year contract.

Eduku is a talented and seasoned striker who has played for Tamale City and Samartex.

Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, head coach of Kotoko, said he was thrilled to have Eduku join the team, saying, “Sampson is a proven goal scorer with great versatility and experience.”

Eduku had a fantastic 2022–2023 season with Tamale City, scoring 14 goals and dishing out four assists. As a result, he was transferred to Al Quwa Al Jawiya of the Iraqi Premier League.

He kept showing off his goal-scoring prowess there.

After Kwame Opoku rejoined the Porcupine Warriors in December 2024, Eduku is the second notable forward to join the team.

Eduku is anticipated to contribute right away to the team’s offensive power due to his shown track record and experience.
