Emile Smith Rowe, an Arsenal midfielder, will join Fulham for an initial £27 million fee with the possibility of £7 million in add-ons.
Fulham signed Smith Rowe for a club record, and according to insiders, the add-ons are dependent on the Cottagers’ progress in the Cup and Europe.
Since the trade was finalized, the 23-year-old has not played in Arsenal’s last two preseason games.
Despite being a fan favorite and an academy product, Smith Rowe has fallen in the hierarchy at Arsenal, trailing Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, and Bukayo Saka.
The midfield player last played for England in 2022. He has three caps overall.
Riccardo Calafiori, an Italian defender, has joined Arsenal from Bologna for a possible transfer fee of up to £42 million.
