For the first time since the Ghana Premier League (GPL) suspension, Asante Kotoko has resumed training.
After Francis Frimpong’s untimely death in Nana Kronmansah Park, the league was suspended.
At first, Kotoko had responded by saying they would only return to competitive play when justice was done.
The team, led by head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, started training at the Adako Jachie facility despite their position, with 19 players taking part.
But despite being there, Samba O’Neil, Wisdom Fernando, Peter Amidu Acquah, Lord Amoah, and Kwesi Asante did not participate in the meeting.
