The Sun Sports reports that Leicester City is considering a move for Ghanaian international Jordan Ayew during the current transfer window.
The Foxes, who have just secured a speedy return to the Premier League, are considering the Crystal Palace forward as a possible replacement for Republic of Ireland striker Thomas Christopher Cannon, a 21-year-old who has drawn interest from a number of clubs and is a top transfer target.
The English Championship teams Sheffield United, West Brom, and Stoke City are reportedly interested in signing Cannon on a loan this summer, and Leicester City is willing to approve a transfer for Cannon provided the interested parties agree to pay a substantial portion of his salary.
Ever since he joined Crystal Palace in 2018, Jordan Ayew has been an important member of the team. A year after his first loan arrival, his transfer was made permanent.
In 37 games for Palace the previous season, the 30-year-old recorded four goals and eight assists. In 211 games for the team, Ayew has totaled 23 goals and 22 assists.
Furthermore, it has been stated that Saudi Pro League clubs are showing interest in Jordan Ayew.
