Juju lead to my fallout in the AFCON IN 1982-Kwesi Appiah

Ex-Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah has recounted how black magic known as Juju costs him in AFCON 1982. The former captain of the senior national team shockingly disclosed this.

Kwesi Appiah told Dan Kwaku Yeboah in an interview on Youtube revealed that was foreign to him. According to him, he was advised to use juju to be fortified. The alleged juju was to help him earn a spot after he joined Asante Kotoko from Prestea Mine Stars.

When I was in Prestea, I used to read Psalm 91 and then go and play football. Although I wasn’t a churchgoer it was something I constantly did before every game. So when I joined Kotoko some people told I can’t play without being fortified, so they took me to see a mallam. He tied something for me and told me to put in my socks.” he narrated.

The centre-back lamented he got injured on the leg placed the substance and missed his debut game for Kotoko against Great Olympics.
