Frustrated supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko blocked head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his team from entering the club’s training grounds at Adako Jachie on Tuesday, April 16, heightening internal tensions.
Dismayed by a series of unsatisfactory outcomes in the Ghana Premier League, angry supporters interrupted the team’s usual training routine. The Porcupine Warriors’ decline to 11th place on the league standings, marked by seven losses in nine matches, saw their former stronghold in the top half relinquished to rivals Hearts of Oak.
The disgruntled fans vocally called for the removal of head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his coaching team, pointing to the team’s poor performance as justification for their request.
