Coach urges Asante Kotoko fans to fill the stadium

Prince Owusu urges Asante Kotoko fans to fill the stadium for Samartex clash.

Asante Kotoko coach Prince Owusu has made a passionate appeal to supporters ahead of their Week 28 showdown against Samartex, urging them to turn up in numbers and back the team at home.

Speaking before the game, Owusu highlighted the importance of fan support as Kotoko look to build momentum and improve their recent run of results. The Porcupine Warriors have recorded two wins, two draws, and one defeat in their last five matches, and will be aiming for a stronger performance on Easter Monday.

“ I’m wishing and I’m asking them to do as a favor to come to the pitch to the field to watch the game. It’s in an Easter Monday and it’s a holiday. So they should come and then complete their holidays with us at the stadium,” he told AKSC Media.

Samartex comes into the game struggling for form, with three draws and two defeats in their last five matches, and will be hoping to climb higher in the league standings.

Kotoko will host Samartex on Monday, April 6, with kickoff scheduled for 4:30 pm.
