Prophet Francis Kofi Annan has sparked controversy after claiming that men who shape their hairlines, moustaches, or beards could be putting their chances of entering heaven at risk.
The Ghanaian preacher, who has previously claimed that he died and came back to life, said practices that many men consider normal grooming are viewed differently in the eyes of God.
According to Prophet Annan, men who desire to make it to heaven should avoid deliberately shaping their hairlines, moustaches, or beards after trimming them. He maintained that men should either completely shave their hair or leave it in its natural form.
“Any man who shapes his hairline, moustache, or beard after trimming will not make it to heaven. As a man, you should either shave all your hair or leave it in its natural shape,” he said.
He further warned that shaping a beard after trimming it is among the practices that could lead a person to hell, claiming that he witnessed such things during what he described as his visit to the land of the dead.
“If you trim your beard, you should not shape it because these are some of the things that can take you to hell. These are some of the things that I saw when I visited the land of the dead,” he added.
