The Ghana Police Service has arrested two suspects over the alleged theft of 30 goats at Sekyeredumase in the Ashanti Region.
Reports indicate that the suspects allegedly loaded the goats into a Toyota Voxy and attempted to transport them out of the area.
Their plan was reportedly disrupted after they were spotted and chased by the police. Officers later arrested the two suspects and recovered all 30 goats.
The suspects are currently assisting with police investigations as authorities work to determine how the goats were stolen and identify their owners.
Residents have praised the police for their quick response, which led to the recovery of the animals and the arrest of the suspects.
