Serious Road Crash At Gomoa Assin: One Feared Dead, Four In Critical Condition
Following a head-on collision between a Toyota Land Cruiser (registration number GR 2444-25) and a Toyota Sienna (registration number AS 5863-19) at Gomoa Assin on the Winneba-Mankessim highway, one person is believed dead and four others are critically injured. When the collision happened, the Toyota Land Cruiser was going to Cape Coast, and the Toyota Sienna was going to Accra, according to Citi News sources. Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service, who responded to the scene, indicated that the Toyota Sienna driver attempted a wrongful overtaking maneuver, resulting in the crash with the oncoming Toyota Land Cruiser. The driver of the Toyota Sienna died on the spot, while four occupants of the Toyota Land Cruiser sustained various injuries. They are currently receiving treatmentPersonnel from the Ghana National Fire Service, who attended to the site, indicated that the Toyota Sienna driver tried a wrongful overtaking move, resulting in the incident with the oncoming Toyota Land Cruiser.
