Ghana’s opponents Panama head to Africa to face Bafana Bafana

Ghana’s opponents Panama head to Africa to face Bafana Bafana pre-World friendlies.

Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup Group opponents have lined up two international friendlies against South Africa.

The matches will be played in South Africa between 27-31 March 2026, the South African Football Association has confirmed.

Panama, currently ranked 33rd in the world, are trimming the rough edges and also get to practice with an African side ahead of their tournament opener against the Black Stars on 17 June at BMO Field in Group L.

Last month, Thomas Christiansen’s side hosted Bolivia and Mexico at home.

Los Canaleros will also face Croatia on 23 June at BMO Field before facing England at MetLife Stadium, New Jersey.
