Ghanaian trio Rahim Ibrahim, Zuberu Sharani, Kelvin Ofori celebrate Slovakian League triumph.
Three Ghanaian players – Rahim Ibrahim, Zuberu Sharani, and Kelvin Ofori – have enjoyed title-winning moments in Europe, underlining the growing influence of Ghanaian talent across different leagues.
Midfielder Rahim Ibrahim played a key role as SK Slovan Bratislava clinched the Slovak Nike Liga title with two games to spare following a narrow 1-0 victory over DAC 1904.
The 24-year-old started the decisive encounter and was later replaced in the 55th minute by former Dreams FC player Zuberu Sharani, who has recently switched international allegiance to Togo.
Ibrahim’s contribution throughout the campaign proved vital, featuring in 26 matches while registering two goals and one assist as Slovan maintained their dominance in Slovak football.
Meanwhile, Kelvin Ofori also made headlines in Slovenia after finding the net in NK Olimpija Ljubljana’s emphatic 3-0 win over Primorje in the Slovenian Prva Liga.
The goal marked his first for the club since completing a loan move from Slovan in January.
The 24-year-old midfielder had earlier made 14 appearances and scored twice for Slovan before sealing his temporary switch.
Ofori’s impact in Slovenia adds to a successful season that sees him celebrate silverware alongside his compatriots.
The achievements of Ibrahim, Sharani, and Ofori highlight another strong campaign for Ghanaian exports in European football, continuing a trend of consistent performances and title success abroad.
