Former Dome-Kwabenya MP Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo has declared that she remains fully committed to overseeing the burial of her late father, Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo, insisting that no one can prevent her from carrying out the responsibility.
Speaking in an interview monitored by GH Trends, the former legislator reaffirmed that the funeral will go ahead as scheduled on July 31, dismissing reports and controversies surrounding the family’s disagreements.
Adwoa Sarfo stated that “there is no smoke without fire,” suggesting that there are valid reasons behind her actions and urging the public not to judge her decisions without understanding the full story.
Addressing questions about why she is handling her father’s remains despite having brothers, she explained that there are specific reasons she was entrusted with the responsibility.
She also made claims about her brother, Akofena, alleging that during Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo’s final days, their father became so displeased with him that he instructed those around him not to allow Akofena access to visit him.
Touching on inheritance issues, Adwoa Sarfo said she has no concerns over reports that her late father distributed some of his properties to people outside the immediate family. According to her, the greatest inheritance she received was the investment her father made in her education and personal growth.
She explained that Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo spared no expense in ensuring she received a quality education, including sponsoring her studies abroad despite the high costs. She credited those opportunities for shaping her into the successful woman she is today.
The comments come amid ongoing public attention surrounding the Sarfo family’s funeral arrangements and inheritance discussions.
