A Ghanaian man has gone viral after choosing the opportunity to travel abroad over receiving $1 million in cash.
In a viral video, the young man was asked to choose between travelling abroad and receiving $1 million. Without hesitation, he chose to travel abroad.
Explaining his decision, he said travelling abroad could give him the opportunity to earn $1 million or more within three years.
According to him, receiving the money in Ghana would not be as beneficial because it could be quickly spent after converting it into Ghana cedis.
“A million dollars is money for abroad. If I exchange it into cedis, it will finish within the shortest possible time. But if you forget about the money and travel abroad, you can make that amount within three years.”
The young man’s comments have sparked reactions online, with many people debating whether they would choose $1 million in cash or the opportunity to travel abroad.
