400 Women benefit from Woezor TV health screening.
More than 400 market women and residents of Abelenkpe Santana Market and its surrounding communities have benefited from a free health screening exercise organised by Woezor Television yesterday.
The initiative, which formed part of the station’s 2026 Mother’s Day celebrations, was dubbed the “Mother’s Day Treat”. Beneficiaries underwent comprehensive health screenings covering various vital health indicators.
In addition to the medical checks, women who were not yet enrolled in the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) were registered for free, while those with expired cards received assistance to renew their membership.
To show appreciation for their participation, organisers presented participants with souvenirs and gifts.
The exercise commenced at 8 a.m. and ended at 4 p.m., with attendees expressing heartfelt gratitude for the thoughtful gesture.
